TUMBA CHALLENGE CUP 2018 U12
Tournament is approved by the Stockholm Hockey Federation
Tumba Challenge Cup 2018 (TCC-18) takes place weekend 14-15th of April in arenas Ishuset and Roplan (same adress wall-to-wall), Tumba south of Stockholm. TCC-18 are for players born 2006 or younger. Older player that includes in the U12 team can be approved but needs to be confirmed by the tournement managment. 25% rule -maximum loan from another team from close by- is allowed but needs to be approved tournament management.
Adress: Ishuset & Roplan Arenas, Munkhättevägen 41, Tumba
Distances: 26km to Stockholm Central, 27 km to Viking Line, 30km to Tallink Silja and
64 km to Arlanda Airport. Commuter train from Stockholm Central to Tumba Station takes approx 25min. From Tumba Station to the Arenas approx. 600meters
Tournament:
Total teams: 8, two groups of four teams.
Saturday: Group games
Sunday: Play-off games
Each team is guaranteed minimum 5 games (3+2). Team playing for places 1-6 plays 6 games (3+3).
Games:
Full size rink 2x15 minutes (30 seconds at half brek) One time out / game.
Stockholm Hockey federations rules for U12 are used:
Body checks are allowed.
Penalty times are decreased with 50% (one minute penalty instead of two, and so on.)
Games, Saturday (2x15min):
Winner 2 p. Draw 1 p. Lost 0 p.
Play-offs, Sunday (2x15min):
If draw:
1) 5 minutes sudden Death, if still draw:
2) 3 penalties (different players), if still draw:
3) Sudden penalties (different players)
Application & Costs
4.500 SEK/team
450 SEK / player and 200SEK extra leader* (*4 leaders/team are included)
Saturday & Sunday
- Lunch
- Snacks (afternoon)
- Cup for place 1- 6
- Medals for each players
- MVP (games of place 1-4)
- Leader room with free coffee etc.
- Own locker room (do not forget blade protectors)

The particpant players and leaders needs to be in the rooster latest 3rd of April.

Food and Beverages are sold in the arena and lotteries with good prices.
