The final game is played and SDE Hockey is the winner - Congratulations!!

The Viking Line World Cup 2010 has come to an end. The cup-organization would like to thank all players, leaders and relatives in their efforts to make this a fantastic tournament.

We have during these four days seen some wonderful icehockey! We congratulate the winners SDE Hockey!!. The trophy stayed in there club in Enebyberg, Stockholm this year too; the reigning champions from last year.

Some players need a special recognition;

Among forwards we acknowledge nr 10 in Slovakia Stars; Martin Reway 19p, nr 19 in SDE Oskar Andrén 21p and nr 17 Matias Pulli from TPS also 21p.

Among defencemen we would like to acknowledge nr 22 Kalle Valtola TPS with 10p and no PIM! and nr 27 Xeno Büsser ZCS Lions 8p and 4 PIM.

Among the goalies we acknowledge nr 93 Ivan Skolout in Slovakia Stars who saved 61 out of 65 shots in one single game and a total of 92,67% in for 4 games!, We also acknowledge nr 1 Yueu Volosenko in HC Kazakhmys who saved 199 shots out of a total of 217 shots and with a SVS% at 91,71 for 6 games.

Some other statistics from the tournamet:
The tournament had a total of 44 games
It was made a total of 398 goals, that makes an average over 4 goals per game!
The average PIM was 14 min per game

Our thoughts also go to those players who injured themselves during the tournament. We hope to see you on the ice again very soon!.

The cup-organization hopeto see all clubs back in Stockholm next year when it is hosted by AIK Team 96.
