Sweden Selects invitational 2011
THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL ICE HOCKEY COMPETITION FOR U14 players, ARRANGED BY Selects Hockey hosted by Djurgården Hockey.
Arranged October 13th - 16th 2011 in Stockholm Sweden.
We hereby invite to participate in 1st Annual Sweden Selects Invitational.
Tournament is designed for elite AAA players from around the world.
8 teams will be selected to the tournament witch will offer the participating teams up to seven games in four days.
The arrangement also includes:
• Lunch and Dinner
• Games filmed for each team
• Hotel accommodation (3-nights) including breakfast (Applies only to option 1)
• Buss transfer departed within Sweden on request for fee (Applies only to option 1)
• Tournament team host for assistance
• Award Ceremony and Tournament MVP Selections
RULES AND REGULATIONS
The tournament is played under all applicable Swedish rules. All players and their equipment must be insured, both for games and leisure time.
Teams are playing in one group, playing 7 games each. Positions in groups are decided by points: three points for a win, one point for a draw.
We are using rules of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association.
Active time is 2x 20 minutes.
All teams play minimum of 7 games
• The minor penalty is 2 minutes.
• Teams are allowed to field players born January 1st 1998 or later.
ARENA
The games will be played in Mälarhöjdens IP, Stockholm.

The organizers of the tournament reserve the right to accept/refuse applications to join the tournament as they see fit. The organizers reserve the right to make changes as they see fit and inform the relevant party/parties in writing.
ENTERING THE TOURNAMENT - STEP-BY-STEP

The following applies when it is agreed that your team is eligible to enter the tournament:
We will send you an entry form which you must complete and send to us. Team entry fee of SEK 8,000 must be in our account no later then by September 1st, 2011. If a team can not participate in the tournament, due to of force majeure or other reasons the organising committee will not refund the entry fee.
• The following applies when your team has been accepted into the tournament: We will send you a team member form which you must complete and send to us. The team member fee per player is SEK 1,700 for option 1 (includes 3 nights at hotel IBIS) or Option 2, no hotel, SEK 1,000.
The team member fee must be paid, at the latest by September 20th, 2011.
The team member fee applies to a minimum of 17 team members per team.
No free team members.
