Upplägg/Spelform
Turneringen startar med ett vanligt gruppspel med fyra lag i vardera grupp. Lagen delas upp i grupp 1 och grupp 2. När gruppspelet är avslutat så har vi ett resultat från grupperna.
När alla matcher i gruppspelet är färdigspelade så har vi ett resultat ifrån grupperna och lagen kommer att rankas från 1-8. När de är rankade 1-8 så kommer det att spelas vad vi kallar ett placeringsspel. Det är en "extrachans" för att lyckas ta fler poäng eller förbättra sin målskillnad inför rankingen inför slutspelet. Det finns även en chans att möta lag ifrån motsvarande grupp under placeringsspelet. Placeringsspelet innehåller en match per lag. Matcherna kommer att spelas på detta sätt:

PL6 - PL7
PL2 - PL3
PL1 - PL4
Rankingen kommer att publiceras på cuponline under fliken "Nyheter"
När placeringsspelet är färdigspelat så rankas lagen återigen 1-8 och lagen placeras ut i olika slutspel beroende på placering. Rankingen baseras på gruppspel+placeringsspel.
Lag rankade 1-3 spelar A-slutspel i form av en rak serie.
Lag rankade 4-6 spelar B-slutspel i form av en rak serie.
Lag rankade 7 & 8 spelar en placeringsmatch.

Hybrid-icing tillämpas
2 min utvisningar för minor
5 min utvisningar för stora straffet
Ingen övertid tillämpas under gruppspelet eller placeringsspelet.
Vid lika resultat efter full matchtid i slutspel/placeringsmatch tillämpas straffläggning. Bäst av 3 straffar. Är resultatet fortsatt lika när båda lagen slagit 3 straffar var läggs sudden straffar. De tre första straffläggarna måste vara olika skyttar. Vid suddenstraffar får samma spelare användas igen/flera gånger. Straffarna läggs åt samma håll. Domarna kommer överens med respektive lags kaptener om vilket lag som väljer sida. Bortalaget lägger alltid första straffen.

Format/Game Structure
The tournament starts with a regular group stage with four teams in each group. The teams are divided into Group 1 and Group 2. Once the group stage is completed, the results from the groups will be available.
When all games in the group stage are finished, the teams from the groups will be ranked from 1 to 8. Once ranked from 1 to 8, a "placement game" will be played. This is an "extra opportunity" to earn more points or improve goal difference before the final rankings for the knockout stage. There is also a chance to play against teams from the corresponding group during the placement game. The placement game includes one match per team. The matches will be played as follows:
PL5 - PL8
PL6 - PL7
PL2 - PL3
PL1 - PL4
The rankings will be published on Cuponline under the "Nyheter" tab.
Once the placement game is completed, the teams will be ranked again from 1 to 8 and placed into different knockout stages based on their ranking. The ranking is based on the group stage and placement game results.
- Teams ranked 1-3 will play in the A-knockout stage in a group stage format.
- Teams ranked 4-6 will play in the B-knockout stage in a group stage format.
- Teams ranked 7 & 8 will play a consolation game.
Ranking Order:
- Points
- Goal difference
- Most goals scored
- Head-to-head results
- Draw (This will be done together with representatives from the teams involved)
Point Allocation:
- Win = 3 points
- Draw = 1 point
- Loss = 0 points
Match Rules:
- Games are played 2x15 minutes.
- Rules according to the Stockholm Ice Hockey Federation for U14.
- Hybrid icing applies.
- 2-minute penalties for minor infractions.
- 5-minute penalties for major penalties.
- No overtime is applied during the group stage or placement games.
- If the score is tied after full time in the playoffs, a penalty shootout will take place. Best of 3 penalties. If the score is still tied after each team has taken 3 penalties, sudden death penalties will be used. The first three penalty takers must be different players. In sudden death, the same player can be used again or multiple times. Penalties will be taken at the same end. The referees will agree with the captains of each team which team will choose the side. The away team will always take the first penalty.
