Tournament Rules
Match Format
• Each game consists of two periods of 15 minutes effective playing time.
• Each team is allowed one 30-second timeout per game.

Round Robin Matches – Points System
• No shootouts are played during the round robin stage.
• A total of 2 points is awarded for each match:
o 2 points for a win in regulation time.
o 1 point to each team in the event of a tie.
Tiebreaker Criteria
If two or more teams finish with the same number of points, standings will be determined by:
a) Goal differential
b) Most goals scored
c) Head-to-head result
d) Fewest penalty minutes
e) Coin toss

Playoff Games
Playoff games cannot end in a tie.
If a playoff game is tied after regulation:
• A shootout will determine the winner.
• Three shots per team will be taken.
• If still tied, the shootout continues in sudden death until one team scores and the other does not.
The winner advances to the next round or receives the higher placement.

• Standard ice hockey rules apply, including offside and hybrid icing.
• Body contact is allowed.
