Manglerud Star Ice Hockey – New Year Cup 2026
Manglerud Star Ice Hockey is excited to invite teams to our annual New Year Cup for players born in 2012. The tournament will be held at Manglerud Ice Rink in Oslo on December 28th and 29th, 2026. (we are considering expanding the tournament by adding a few matches on December 27th for teams that arrive early or are located nearby).
Tournament Format
- Teams: 8
- The tournament format will be determined later
- Total Games per Team: minimum 5
Game Rules
- Standard rules from the Norwegian Ice Hockey Federation for the 2012 age group apply.
- Game Duration: 2 x 20 minutes
Referees
- All games will be officiated by local referees with experience at the U16/U18 level, using a three-referee system.
Awards
- Top 3 teams will receive trophies.
- A Best Player Award will be presented after each game.
Accommodation
- Hotel Option: We are working to establish partnerships with hotels. For inquiries, contact: 2012@mshockey.no
- School Lodging Option: We are working to provide school accommodation, A-card. Players must bring their own sleeping bags.
Meals
- All meals served at Manglerud Ice Rink:
- December 28: Breakfast (A-card only), Lunch & Dinner
- December 29: Breakfast (A-card only) & Lunch
Registration & Fees
- Team Fee: 6,000 NOK per team (invoice sent upon registration confirmation)
- Participant Cards:
- A-card (1,500 NOK): Includes school lodging and all meals
- B-card (1,200 NOK): Lunch and dinner only
- Cards apply to both players and accompanying adults (coaches, parents)
