Borås Hockey U11 is pleased to invite you to our Fair Play Cup, on April 9, 2016.

Fair Play is one key component of the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation youth Program.  Fair Play increases sportsmanship, accountability and player safety without compromising hockey's competitive aspects.

We think it’s important to build bridges with many clubs and that player’s focus on the beauty of the game and not what separates teams such as poor sportsmanship and agonizing feelings.

Fair Play holds all stakeholders, i.e players, coaches and parents in youth hockey accountable for their actions by rewarding proper behavior and penalizing improper behavior.

When using the Fair Play model, each team start the game scheduled to receive an extra "Fair Play" point in the standings for playing the game with good sportsmanship. A team loses its Fair Play point if they exceed the penalty minute threshold established for that level of play, a coach is assessed a Game Misconduct or Match Penalty, or a spectator is requested to leave the arena by an official.
