INBJUDAN/INVITATION:
Dear ice hockey friends, let us invite you to the XXI. International Ice Hockey Tournament for Youth CHRISTMAS CUP 2019 which will be held in cities Bilina & Most, in the CZECH REPUBLIC.
In the past have visited Christmas Cup tournaments teams from 23 countries: Canada, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Russia, England, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belgium, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Lituania, Belarus, Netherlands, UAE and of course CZECH TEAMS like HC Sparta Praha, HC Slavia Praha, HC Rytiri Kladno, HC 1929 Plzen, HC Kometa Brno and many more.
Age category and basic information:
U 16 - 2004 & younger - 16th - 18th December 2019
Girls can be max. two (2) years older.
Cup start – on Monday 16th December 2019 - in the morning at 8:00
Cup finish – on Wednesday 18th December 2019 – in the afternoon at 18:00
(it is necessary to come into tournament place on Sunday afternoon/evening)
Game time 3x 15 min. effective/stopped time
2 game levels played separately – AAA/AA (very good Czech standard) + A level (weak)
Ice-rinks – ICE-ARENA in Bilina & Most
Every team has guaranteed 5 games in the tournament
max. 6-8 teams can participate in each play level
Attendant program - skill competitions:
Full attendant program is ready for all participants. Together with official gala ceremonials in the beginning and in the end of tournament there is a possibility to participate in skill competitions. 4 players and 1 goalkeeper can participate of each team. They compete in following disciplines – speed skating, shooting on targets, slalom and raiding on goal.

As a condition of acceptance, out-of-town teams must stay at an cup organizer´s authorized hotel. Several price alternatives are offered:
HOTEL CASCADE: in downtown Most.
10 minutes walk distance from the ice rink, rooms and bathrooms are newly renovated, TV-sat, wi-fi, wellness etc.
- Price 51 € person/night with full board (lunch and dinner served in the restaurant at ice-arena)
- Price 55 € person/night with full board (lunch and dinner served in the restaurant of Hotel Cascade)
- Price 42 € person/night - for parents - only bed and breakfast
* Meals: - buffet breakfast in the hotel, lunch and dinners in the restaurant Ice arena or restaurant at hotel Cascade
* Players are usually accommodated in triple rooms, other people - coaches, leaders, parents - in double/twin rooms.
Limited number of single rooms can be obtained (1-2 per team), otherwise for additional extra cost.
HOTEL CASANOVA in town Duchcov (distance 20 km)
- Price 45 € person/night with full board - breakfast and dinner served at hotel, lunch at ice-arena restaurant
- Price 35 € person/night - for parents - only bed and breakfast
Payment:
– Entry fee – as soon as possible to get confirmed place in the tournament
- for meals, hotel accommodation and ev. bus transfers 6 weeks before tournament starts (according to an invoice from the cup organizer)
- all your payments you will make directly to cup organizer´s bank account mentioned above
Bus transport
– it is approx. 90 km from the Airport Prague to Most
- price for bus transfers is 690 € to Most and back to the airport
The city Most
Most is the small city under the Ore Mountains, approx. 90 km north of the capital city Prague. Modern architecture is for this city typical, with a few historical elements, which are from ancestral city Most – today nonexistent because of coal mining. It is possible to visit especially moved church of assumption of the Virgin Mary and the view point from the 12th century – The castle Hnevin. Not only landmark lovers have one’s own back. Horse-race area Hipodrom, race circuit Autodrom, but also water area Aquadrom and many others, so is the city Most, too.

Transport to the Czech Republic and insurance costs are on responsibility of players/team.
