The 2nd season draws to a close and the Chicago Blackhawks will travel to New York to face the Rangers in an epic Original Six Battle Royale!
The weekend we have all been waiting for, GHL Final! And what a hard fought series it has been this year. Crazy to think that this is only the second season, but the matches were fought as bitterly and passionate as any would have expected. Tempers ran high during the play-offs, with Henrik "Hellish" Hansen stoking the fire about trading deadlines, Lightnings Tysken pulling out all the stops to ensure that the match against the Hawks might have ended differently, but certainly the Sharks vs. Rangers clanger was all we had hoped for.
So now, Sunday the 26th March 2023 in the Brand New EXAKT GARDEN ARENA, we will feast out eyes on high quality Gubb Hockey Galore, where two Original Six stalwarts face off and hope to lift the GHL CUP.
Whilst Point and Goal Contenders Sjöberg (AVALANCHE) and Laser (LIGHTNING) are relegated to watch from the rafters, Carl "Coffinmaker" Kistenmacher is in with a shot to catch up. But BLACKHAWKS show up strong with Mange Jansson, Jo Kandell, Tony "Silky Touch" Torbiörnsson and Danne "Lash Out" Lotfi all in hot pursuit to collect points that could alter the stats.
Most exciting will be the Friday night GHL Tonight Show, where we have the coaches and captains available for all the insights and some good old trash talk.
