Useful Info for Next Weekend
2025-03-24
The Easter Cup is just around the corner, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming you all to Rungsted! This is just a quick note to check in and make sure everyone has the information they need. Please have a look over these points and let me know if you have any questions—or if there’s anything else you think we’ve forgotten!
1. Rosters
If you haven’t yet sent your team roster, please do so as soon as possible. We need the rosters to know how many players to expect and to get everything set up in Cuponline.
2. Player fees
If possible, we kindly ask that you make payment of the player fees by the end of this week. If you need payment details or have any questions about the amount or process, feel free to reach out.
3. Accommodation
We’ve booked space for all teams to stay at Rungsted Skole, which is about 2.5 km from the rink—a 20–30 minute walk. If you need help getting players or gear to and from the rink, let me know in advance and we’ll do our best to arrange a lift with one of our team’s parents.
Teams will be able to leave their gear in the locker rooms overnight on Saturday. If you’d like to drop off gear at the rink on Friday evening, please let me know in advance so I can make arrangements.
4. Allergies and special requests
If you have any players or adults with allergies or other special requirements—especially in relation to meals—please let me know so we can plan accordingly.
5. Schedule and game times
We’ll be preparing the final tournament schedule later this week and posting it on cuponline.se. I’ll also send PDF versions to each team and we’ll put up printed schedules on the doors of each locker room.
Match rules will be shared at the same time as the schedule.
7. Jerseys
The schedule will indicate which team is home and which is away for each game, so you’ll know which jersey to wear. If you’re only bringing one jersey colour, just let me know and I’ll make sure the schedule avoids any conflicts.
8. Meals
-
Lunch and dinner will be provided at the café in the swimming hall next to the rink: https://hallernesspisested.dk/
-
Breakfast will be available in the lounge at the rink for teams staying at the school.
-
Snacks will be provided for each locker room in the mornings and afternoons.
The full meal schedule will be sent out with the match schedule.
Again, if anyone has allergies or other dietary needs, please let me know as soon as possible.
9. Emergencies and medical support
We will have a member of medical staff at the rink throughout the tournament. In the event of an injury or medical issue, the team trainers will be able to contact her directly for support.
For serious injuries or emergencies, the emergency number in Denmark is 112, and the nearest hospital is North Zealand Hospital in Hillerød: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZyrnzfYaf5447k3R7
Bonus: Rungsted’s elite team playoff game on Friday!
As a fun extra, Rungsted’s elite hockey team is currently playing in the Metal Ligaen playoffs and just won their quarterfinal match today! The schedule for the semifinals hasn't yet been announced, but I think they’re expected to play a semifinal game on the evening of Friday, April 4.
Tickets haven’t gone on sale yet, but if any of your players or parents are interested in attending the game, you can keep an eye on this link for ticket information: https://shop.rungsted.is/kampe
Further updates
Any further updates or information will be posted here.
That’s all for now! We’ll be in touch again very soon with the match schedule and meal times. Thanks again—we’re really excited to see you all on the ice!
All the best,
Gavin
