Each game consists of two 20 minute periods.
Each period is its own game, meaning winning 1 period = 1 point. A maximum of 2 points is awarded to a team that wins both periods.
Games are played with a running clock until the last 5 minutes of a game where time will be stopped when the puck is not in play unless a team is down by 3 or more goals.
Should a period end in a draw, each team will get 3 penalties to decide who wins the point. If there is still no winner, it will be decided on sudden death penalties.
Playoff periods ending in a draw will include a 3 vs 3 golden goal 5 minute overtime before the penalties to decide the winner.
We play with offside and icing and all other rules according to the IIHF rules. A player sustaining a match penalty will we suspended for the next game.
