Dear ice hockey friends, let us invite you to international ice hockey tournaments for youth U14 & U16 EASTER LIONS CUP 2024 which will be held in town Most and which belongs to the CZECH OPEN tournament series.
Winners U14 - HC Jičín (CZE)
Winners U16 - Mostečtí Lvi (CZE)
In the past have visited CZECH OPEN tournaments youth ice hockey teams from 28 countries and 4 continents, for example: Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, England, Hungary, Austria, Belarus, Slovakia, Ukraine, Latvia, Germany, Slovenia, The Netherlands, Poland, United Arabien Emirates, United States of America, Canada and of course CZECH TEAMS.
Age categories and basic information:
U 14 - 2010 & younger - 5th - 7th April 2024 (5-6 teams)
U 16 - 2008 & younger - 5th - 7th April 2024 (5-6 teams)
Cup start – on Friday 5th April 2024 - in the morning at 8:00
Cup finish – on Sunday 7th April 2024 – in the afternoon approx. at 18:00-19:00
(it is necessary to come into tournament place on Thursday afternoon/evening)
Game time 2x 20 min. effective/stopped time
Play level U14 – AA (middle)
Play level U16 - AA (middle)
Ice-rink – ICE-ARENA in Most
Every team has guaranteed to play 5 games in the tournament
Attendant program - skill competitions:
Full attendant program is ready for all participants. Together with official gala ceremonials in the beginning and in the end of tournament there is a possibility to participate in skill competitions. 4 players and 1 goalie can participate of each team. They compete in following disciplines – speed skating, shooting on targets, slalom with puck and penalty shooting.

Note:
The place in the tournament is only confirmed when the Entry fee has been paid.
As a condition of acceptance, out-of-town teams must stay at an cup organizer´s authorized hotel. Several price alternatives are offered:
HOTEL CASCADE: in downtown Most.
7-10 minutes walk distance from the ice rink, rooms and bathrooms are newly renovated, TV-sat, wi-fi, wellness etc.
- Price 72 € person/night with full board (lunch served in the restaurant at ice-arena, other meals at hotel)
- Price 75 € person/night with full board (all meals served at hotel)
- Price 55 € person/night - for parents - only bed and breakfast
* Players are usually accommodated in triple rooms, other people - coaches, leaders, parents - in double/twin rooms. Limited number of single rooms can be obtained for additional cost 30€/night.
Payment:
– Entry fee – first at the direction of the tournament organizer.
- for meals, hotel accommodation and ev. bus transfers 6 weeks before tournament starts (according to an invoice from the cup organizer)
- all your payments you will make directly to cup organizer´s bank account mentioned above
Bus transport
– it is approx. 100 km from the Airport Prague to Most
- price for bus transfers is 900 € to Most and back to the airport
The city Most
Most is the small city under the Ore Mountains, approx. 90 km north of the capital city Prague. Modern architecture is for this city typical, with a few historical elements, which are from ancestral city Most – today nonexistent because of coal mining. It is possible to visit especially moved church of assumption of the Virgin Mary and the view point from the 12th century – The castle Hnevin. Not only landmark lovers have one’s own back. Horse-race area Hipodrom, race circuit Autodrom, but also water area Aquadrom and many others, so is the city Most, too.

Transport to the Czech Republic and insurance costs are on responsibility of players/team.
