Copenhagen Falcons welcomes you to the Nordic International U12 Cup for a weekend full of hockey, fun and new connections.
With previous participants from Sweden, Norway, Czechia, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine and Denmark, you’re sure to face teams you’ve never played before!
The cup features 12 teams with two group stages and one playoff:
Day 1 (Friday): Mixed groups – 3 games
Day 2 (Saturday): Groups based on Day 1 results – 3 games
Day 3 (Sunday): Playoff – 2 games (Semi & Final/3rd, A, B, C)
Groups are divided into morning and afternoon, giving you time to explore Copenhagen and do other activities:
Morning group: 07:00–14:00
Afternoon group: 14:00–21:00
Playoffs: 07:00–16:30
Games are played 2x15 minutes with stopping time for the last 5 minutes of every period. Group stage games ending in a draw will be decided in a shootout with 3 shots for both teams. Playoff games ending in a draw will first feature a 5 minute 3 on 3 before a potential shootout.
The level of the tournament is club team AA-AAA.
The cup follows the IIHF rules for full-ice hockey with slight alterations to better suit the tournament. All tournament games will be broadcasted, allowing anyone to watch from home.
Cost:
Team fee: €400
Player fee: €55 per player (minimum 11, maximum 17 players)
3 coaches are included in the price
Extra coach: €50
Meals:
Lunch is included for all teams on all days.
Dinner is included for teams in the afternoon groups.
A second lighter meal is included for teams playing in the morning groups.
