We would like to welcome you to Girlpower by Antonia Cup - U14F, an international tournament played on a full size rink for girls born in 2013 and 2014!
As you, who been joining us before at tournaments in Upplands Väsby know, we try to do our very best to give all participants an experience to remember. We promise to pay close attention to details as well as to the big picture.
The tournament will be a fantastic opportunity to prepare your team for a season playing full size hockey. We are looking forward to some great hockey, to making new friends and having a lot of fun!
Level of the tournement is AA.
All teams will advance to playoffs where every team plays one semifinal and either Bronze Medal Game och Gold Medal Game. This way, all games will mean something, there will be more close games and at the end, a lot of happy and satisfied players!
Dates: Saturday 31st of October and Saturday 1st of November
Arenas: Vilunda Ishall A and Vilunda Ishall B in Upplands Väsby
Teams:8 teams
Ages: Girls born in 2013 and 2014. Up to 4 younger players, born in 2015, will be okay. Older players only with permission from Tournament management.
Style: Full ice, 5 on 5. In playoff overtime, it will be 3 on 3.
Game time: 2 x 20 minutes in Group Stage. In Playoffs, there will be 3 minutes over time, played 3 on 3, and thereafter 3 penalty shots.
Structure: In both Leagues, all teams will play each other, resulting in 3 group stage games. All teams will advance to quarter finals and winner will move on to Gold semi finals and the losing teams will move to diamond semi final
Trophies, medals and awards: There will be trophies for all teams as well as medals for the top 3 teams in the Gold Playoffs. Player of the game will be announced for both teams after each game and all coaches will help us elect an ALL STAR TEAM for the tournament. There will also be awards for the top goaltender and the player with the most points.
Halloween Award: As the opening day is on Halloween there will be a "Best Costume Award" for the team that impresses the judges the most with their costumes. It can be on the ice, on the way to the arena och during dinner. Only the imagination sets the limits. This is a completely voluntarily.
Meals: Lunch and dinner on saturday and sunday as well as lunch on Sunday will be included.
Registration fee per Team: SEK 6.000. To be paid in full, after registration, to guarantee the teams participation.
Player fee: SEK 800. To be paid 30th of September at the latest. All teams pays for a minimum of 15 players.
Coach / Team leader fee: 3 coaches / Team leaders are included for free. Additional coach / team leader is SEK 600. To be paid 30th of September at the latest.
